Rural NZ Website now “Live”

Christchurch based publisher, Waterford Press, publishers of Business Rural South, Business Rural North and Business South and Business North newspapers having joined forces in a joint venture collaboration with the South Islands largest online publisher, ID Ltd. Together, the JV partners have launched a sophisticated, large scale rurally focused website under the banner, Rural NZ.

ID Ltd, who have designed, developed and also host many of NZ’s leading high volume websites, including, SJS Student Job Search, NZ Cricket & The Black Caps, will represent the Rural NZ website for the sale of online advertising to advertising and media booking agencies in the South Island. In the North Island, ID Ltd’s sales affiliate partner APN Digital Media, owners of the NZ Herald, NZ Listener, NZ Women’s Weekly and a stable of provincial and regional newspaper websites will provide representation.

The Rural NZ website combines the latest rural news and editorial, regional, national and international. In addition, the site features a wide range of commercial services and information including, regional weather, stock prices, rural business service provider directories and information.
Forums, surveys and polls and user generated content from within rural communities will eventually be combined with full e commerce capabilities, bringing a powerful presence to the online rural market. A regular subscriber based e zine has already commenced distribution.
South Island and North Island versions of the website are available to visitors.
