In early January Vorb received its first major software platform change in almost 6 years. Moving around 2 million pieces of content between servers and systems proved to be a mission but the team at ID pulled it off with Tama only losing half of his sanity in the process. User reaction quickly went from “Wargh! It’s different!” to “It’s actually quite good.” Work will continue on Vorb to restore more functionality from the old system including video conversion, PXTing and a mobile interface.
